About Civil Train

CCF Victoria, through its nationally accredited Registered Training Organisation (RTO number 3704), is committed to delivering high quality training programs in accordance with the governing regulatory body’s (Australian Skills Quality Authority – ASQA) compliance guidelines.

Training is essential to the success of any business in the civil construction industry. Companies that invest in the ongoing development of their employees’ skills and knowledge can reap the rewards of increased quality and quantity of work output. It is also essential that you and your staff are appropriately trained to conduct your work safely and to all relevant standards.

Creating Mentally Healthy Workplaces in the Victorian Construction Industry

The importance of creating and sustaining mentally healthy workplaces is an increasing point of focus for businesses in a multitude of sectors across Australia. The construction industry is one of those sectors where there is an opportunity and need for change in the way projects are procured, planned and delivered.

Recognising the importance of directly addressing these issues, CCF Victoria is taking proactive steps to design and introduce practical initiatives to assist and support construction businesses, their owners and managers to build mentally healthy workplaces.

Mentally healthy workplaces are not only good for staff, but they are good for business. According to a 2014 PwC Report, for every $1 invested in successful mental health initiatives, businesses see an average of $2.30 return on investment.
