THE CLIENT

Join a well-established, national construction company with over 20 years of experience specialising in projects to the Retail, Hospitality, Commercial Education and Health sectors. This is a role where your experience in prioritising quality and putting the client first will be highly valued.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Estimating Manager, this busy role will see you:

  • Conduct reviews of new tenders, complete tender assessment forms
  • Set up the sub-contractor comparison form, trade/supplier packages, send packages, arrange site visits and obtain quotes
  • Attend site inspections and meetings to meet with clients/sub-contractors
  • Analyze tender documentation and plans
  • Liaise, obtain and negotiate pricing from subcontractors and suppliers
  • Maintain pricing library
  • Help mentor and develop junior estimators

Qualifications / Skills

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

To be considered for this role you need to demonstrate:

  • Relevant university qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years of estimating experience ideally within the commercial fit-out industry.
  • Stable work history
  • References to support your experience
